Ntare Niyomugabo is a technology expert with strong technology capabilities gained over 19 years of Banking Operations, Core Banking Systems and EFT Systems Administration, Cryptography, PersoBureau, Payment Systems design and architecture and consulting. His career started in Banque de Commerce, Development et d'Industrie in 2002 from where he proceeded to Banque Commerciale du Rwanda later on to Banque populaire du Rwanda, RSwitch, and BPC Banking Technology where he has implemented different payment solutions in Middle East and Africa countries such as Central Bank of Iraq, Societe Monetique Tunisie, Banque de la Republique du Burundi, RSwitch, Banque Populaire du Rwanda, re-architectured and led technical Implementations of RNDPS (Rwanda National Digital Payment System), PCI DSS/PTS Certifications as well as VISA, Master Card and UPI Certifications. Ntare joined back RSwitch in 2017 as Senior Switch Engineer and has since risen through ranks to become Cards and Payment Systems Manager, Head of Core Systems and Switching, and later Promoted to Chief Technology Officer . He holds a MSc in Software Engineering from The University Of Hertfordshire and a BSc in Information Systems from University Of Lay Adventist Of Kigali
